Me and my mom have just gotten into witchcraft, and my general consensus of a familiar is a animal or spirit that will manifest to you in different ways. My mom says that she hopes her familiar is a human, and even if she was joking, it led me to questioning whether or not a human could be a familiar. I argued a human couldn’t be a familiar because a familiar needed to be an animal, but she pointed out humans are animals. I did some research and in medieval interpretations of witches some familiars were depicted as humanoid, if that matters. So, can a human be a familiar?

How do I make sure that I get reincarnated as a pet cat, dog, parrot or horse in my next life, according to all religions? I’m sick of being human.

When you cleanse an item with salt can you use the same salt or do you need different salt each time you cleanse an item???
